Because Peter the Wolf and the Other is a classical concert, but not a traditional one.
The project was born from the idea of creating a concrete opportunity to broaden the audience for symphonic music with an original format, capable of engaging and entertaining: a genuine piece of musical outreach.
The starting point of Peter, the Wolf and the Other is the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra, one of the best-known orchestras on the national scene, which has made versatility its stylistic hallmark. The musical aspect is supported by the narrative of Arturo Brachetti, one of the most renowned Italian theatrical artists worldwide, here engaged as the narrator.
From the meeting of these two realities arises “Pierino, il lupo e l’altro,” a concert with the flavor of a show, unusual and accessible to different targets(wider, popular, and younger), not accustomed to the cultural tradition of classical concert halls. On this occasion, thanks to the visual presentation, the music becomes “easy” and “for everyone,” while still remaining artistically impeccable.
